MKM began as MKM Trucking, founded by Bill Hurley with a clear vision shaped by firsthand experience.

Before starting MKM, Bill worked as an executive in retail—constantly on the phone, putting out fires caused by unreliable transportation and disconnected logistics systems. He saw an opportunity to do things differently.

Instead of reacting to problems, he set out to create a solution.

A company that would:

• Communicate clearly

• Respond quickly

• And allow businesses to focus on growth—not daily disruptions

What started as a small, three-person office in Indianapolis was built on a simple but powerful idea: take the chaos off the customer’s plate.
